Have an option to delay an automation (timeframe based). i.e. "When this happens wait for 24 hours, check this... and do that".
Looking to have the connector 'wait' in-between tasks until it executes it. This is because some of our spreadsheets are quite large and need to compile the calculations before the next steps are taken but also to allow a manual review partway through an automation (as opposed to a manual trigger) - currently a feature in other connector tools

Hi There,
We have now added support for the Delay feature.
You can check out the feature from here integrately.com/integrations/delay
Thanks!

Merged with: Timer App
Zaid Moharkan
There are cases when you might want to add a time delay between your automation steps or subsequent automation runs. A Timer App would be perfect which could either take a static time delay or a calculated time value.
Background:
We ran an automation to send welcome email to all our users who filled our Facebook Lead form, but a huge number of registrations lead to an email burst and hence all our emails were going to spam.

there is a work around that I found, you can create an outlook event, make a dummy calendar that never gets seen, then que up your events to run automatically at that time and pull data from the event. this doesn't work in all applications, but it does work in mine specifically.

Can't fully migrate from zapier till this happens. We stall a SMS to customers for 7 days before sending. Cannot send immediately. This is so important.

In a cloud database (like NINOX), the server version is changed with every change to the data set. If I now set a trigger that informs me by email about changes to a task or a new offer, I will receive too many change notifications if the query is too frequent. I therefore need the function that only checks for changes every hour or once a day.

have option delay next action for a set period of tieme or specific date

Users can set predetermined times that their automations run via integrately.
it would simplify the case of databases having reminders and appointments set needing to remind clients of their appointments x days before.
ie. run automation daily after searching database for reminder date where reminder date = today and trigger sms via sms app.

To have the ability to design an automation that includes a wait, or delay, step. For example wait for x time, or wait until y time. Then continue. Just like zapier can.

Really important, to avoid executing too many tasks at the same time for example, or to execute tasks only during workday to seem human.
- I use "Delay until" 8:00" to delay and execute task only during the day, but not the night.
- I use "Delay after queue" with 15min delay between each task execution when they arrive all at the same time so that we have 15min to give some time to execute them separately.
- I use "Delay for" 3 minutes, to give some task for a previous task to execute or seem more human.
Thanks

Is this in the works? Pretty big one for our workflows

Delay should have two options:
1. Delay until specific date/time.
This is for when you need things to happen on a specific date and time. In order to not have the server process these every minute. I think it's fine to set the minute option to be 5 minute intervals. Example time setting: MM/DD/YYYY @ 2:15PM.
2. Delay a certain amount of time from now. I think it's fine to set the minute option to be 5 minute intervals.
Example: Delay 10 mins.
This Would add a delay of 10 minutes on to the current time before executing the next thing.
* The time (such as in #1) would ideally based on the users time zone so that they can better visualize a process as they envision it in their mind.... However, #2, it would be 10 minutes later from when it is triggered.
** Both timers are for inside of steps and between steps.
Use Case Examples:
1. A customer submits a form and we want make it seem that it is being looked at by a human before we trigger a response.
2. When a specific date hits, we trigger something for those that have been waiting, such as having a tag added to a CRM which then gives a member access to a new lesson within a membership area.

Putting the tasks in a queue as 3rd option would also be good, to avoid many tasks to execute at the same time. Thx!

Choose timing with Delay/Time (sometimes to allow time for executions of tasks or look less robot, more natural or acting at particular time of the day or week)
